Purpose
The Clatsop County Cultural Coalition grants are funded by the Oregon Cultural Trust and awarded to projects that support, maintain, preserve and protect cultural programs in the arts, heritage and humanities in Clatsop County.

Grant Application for Fiscal Year 2024
The 2024 grant application is now available. Applications will be accepted starting September 1, 2023. The deadline is October 31, 2023. Awards will be announced in late December 2023 with checks presented in person at an award ceremony in early January 2024. Applications are most competitive when the applicant attends a coalition workshop. Workshop dates and locations are listed below. Only 2024 application forms will be accepted. Do NOT use a form from a previous year. The grant application will be available as a fillable pdf available soon. 2024 Grant Writing Workshops
We recommend that all applicants attend a workshop or schedule a review session to check their application before submission to avoid common mistakes that lead to disqualification.

Grant Awardees for Fiscal Year 2023
Grant awardees for the FY 2023 were announced at an awards ceremony on January at Clatsop Community College. Grant awards total $15,270 and awardees include:
$2,500 - Astoria High School Theater
$1,650 - Astoria Scandinavian Heritage Association
$2,500 - The Writer’s Guild
$2,000 - Cascadia Chamber Opera
$1,000 - Astoria Arts & Movement
$1,620 - Arts Council of Clatsop County
$1,000 - Partners for the PAC -
$1,000 - Finlandia Foundation Columbia Pacific Chapter
$1,000 - Columbia River Maritime Museum
$1,000 - Ten Fifteen Productions
Evaluation reports from these organizations are due August 1. If the project has not been completed, submit a progress report. If your group is unable to complete the project in 2023, please refund the grant. Failure to submit an evaluation means the group is not eligible to submit a new grant application for 2024.

The Clatsop County Cultural Coalition is funded by the Oregon Cultural Trust. Your support of the OCT makes these grants possible. Donate to your favorite non-profit registered with the OCT, donate a similar amount (with limits) to the OCT, and receive a tax credit for your donation to the OCT. This opportunity is unique to the state of Oregon. Details are available at:
